After an overview of Excel, you will learn how to enter information into a spreadsheet and to use formulas to perform calculations. You will also learn how to navigate in large spreadsheets and to freeze headings. The third chapter deals with columns and rows, including how to insert, delete and widen them. Then you will go on to learn about built-in functions of Excel, including the Sum, Average, and Count. Copying and moving information is then covered, with all the tricks (including Absolute References) necessary to copy formulas and functions without causing errors. The last two chapters deal with how the information has to appear on screen and on printed paper.
